Welcome to OzGameX. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, services, and attendance at OzGameX events operated by OzGameX Pty Ltd (ABN 12 345 678 901). By accessing our website, purchasing tickets, or attending our events, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services or attend our events.

"Event" refers to any OzGameX expo, conference, or related activity.
"Attendee" or "you" refers to any person who purchases a ticket, registers for, or attends an Event.

"Content" refers to all text, images, videos, audio, and other materials available through our Services.
3. Ticket Purchase and Registration
3.1 Purchase Process
Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis subject to availability. By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using accepted payment methods.
3.2 Ticket Types and Pricing
Different ticket types offer varying levels of access and benefits. Prices are subject to change without notice, but purchases already completed will honor the price paid. Early bird, group, and promotional pricing may be available for limited periods.
3.3 Age Requirements
OzGameX events are open to all ages. Attendees under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Age verification may be required for certain activities, zones, or content rated for mature audiences.
3.4 Ticket Transfers
Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise. Unauthorized resale or transfer of tickets may result in cancellation without refund. Official ticket transfers must be processed through our designated platform.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
4.1 Refund Policy
Tickets are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Refund requests due to exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
4.2 Event Cancellation
In the event that OzGameX cancels an Event, ticket holders will receive a full refund of the ticket price. We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred such as travel, accommodation, or other expenses.
4.3 Event Changes
We reserve the right to change Event dates, times, locations, programming, featured guests, and other details. Such changes do not entitle attendees to refunds unless the Event is cancelled entirely. We will communicate material changes via email and our website.
5. Event Conduct and Rules
5.1 Code of Conduct
All attendees must conduct themselves in a respectful and lawful manner. Harassment, discrimination, threats, or violence of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes verbal, physical, or online harassment related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, religion, or any other protected characteristic.
5.2 Prohibited Items and Activities
The following are prohibited at OzGameX events: weapons of any kind (including replicas), illegal substances, outside food and beverages (except for medical or dietary needs), professional recording equipment without prior authorization, unauthorized commercial activities or solicitation, and disruptive behavior that interferes with others' enjoyment.
5.3 Cosplay and Costume Guidelines
Cosplay is welcomed and encouraged. However, costumes must be safe and appropriate. Prop weapons must comply with venue regulations and be clearly identifiable as non-functional. Costumes must not obstruct walkways or present safety hazards. OzGameX reserves the right to refuse entry or request modifications to costumes deemed inappropriate.
5.4 Photography and Recording
OzGameX and its partners may photograph and record attendees for promotional purposes. By attending, you consent to such use without compensation. Attendees may take personal photos and videos for non-commercial use, but must respect others' privacy and comply with restricted area signage.
5.5 Security and Safety
All attendees and bags are subject to search upon entry. We cooperate with local authorities and venue security. Emergency procedures will be communicated at the venue and via announcements if necessary.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 OzGameX Content
All Content provided through our Services, including logos, designs, text, graphics, and software, is owned by or licensed to OzGameX and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without express written permission.
6.2 Third-Party Content
Games, demos, presentations, and other content provided by exhibitors and partners remain the property of their respective owners. Use of such content is subject to the terms set by those parties.
6.3 User-Generated Content
If you submit content to OzGameX (such as photos, videos, or feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for promotional and operational purposes.
7. Website and Service Use
7.1 Account Registration
Some features require account creation. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
7.2 Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our Services to: upload malicious code or viruses; engage in data mining or scraping; interfere with service operations; violate any laws or regulations; or infringe on others' rights.
7.3 Service Availability

Attendance at Events involves inherent risks. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or illness. OzGameX is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
8.3 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OzGameX from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your conduct at Events.

We may terminate or suspend your access to Services or remove you from an Event at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other attendees, exhibitors, or OzGameX itself.
